Beat the Close

Closing Line Value (CLV) is the number sharps actually care about: did we get a better price than the market closed at? Consistently beating the close predicts long-term profit better than any short-run win streak. Here's ours — measured on every graded pick, across moneyline, spread, and total.

What CLV means

Every time the model makes a pick, we record the price available then and the price the market closed at. If we regularly took a better number than the close, that's a real, math-backed edge — not luck. A positive average CLV and a high "beat the close %" are the honest signal. We show them whether they're good or bad; nothing here is cherry-picked.
